Miracles Happen in the Middle

You come to this place where you feel stuck. You can't go back and you can't move forward. Your feet feel like concrete. In this place you feel disappointed, confused, uninspired.

But here's the good news...

this is where miracles happen, things change, thoughts shift. All you have to do is move. Even a tiny movement can create clarity and get your juices flowing again. A tiny shuffle of your feet can break down walls and push over boulders.

This is the biggest thing I've learned over the past year. Movement = clarity. Dreaming about the future is nice, but you've got to do the work now. Just like a farmer prepares the soil for a new crop, you have to prepare the soil for all your dreams.

There's a part in The Shift where Dr. Wayne Dyer tells of a healing miracle that happened to him while he was giving a tour inside a church. During part of the tour, everyone had to walk up a great spiral staircase. There was one disabled boy who reached a point on the staircase where he could no longer go on using his own strength, so Dr. Dyer told him to jump on his back and he'd carry him the rest of the way. Thing is, Dr. Dyer had a bad knee at the time and on the way up he felt his knee give out. There he was on the staircase with someone on his back and his knee unable to hold them both up - he was stuck in the middle.

That's when he had a holy vision and felt his knee grow strong. He literally ran up the rest of the stairs with the boy still on his back. He said he felt stronger than ever.

When you feel stuck in a situation and your mind, body, or soul is unwilling to go on, you can either give up and remain exactly where you are or you can look up and keep going, feeling stronger in the end. A miracle can happen if you let it.
