I read a quote that said something to the tune of, give thanks for blessings still on their way. After reading that I wrote a letter to God and thanked him for taking care of Freddy, for restoring his health back to him, and for helping me financially. I felt better after writing the letter, but some doubt still remained clumped in my stomach.
What I've learned from this is that it's okay to have doubt - we're only human. The Secret claims that negative thoughts can block you from blessings, and to a degree that's true, but it's not the final say. Matthew 17:20 says, "If you have faith as small as a mustard seed you can say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there,' and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you."
It's true. Blessings are given even if we do have doubt. All you need is a little faith for magic and miracles. You can skip all the other stuff: the manifesting and magic genie mentality. Just have that little seed of faith growing in your heart.
My own miracle happened; Freddy got to come home and is regaining his strength AND the vet bill was significantly lower than what I was initially quoted. Hallelujah!
