Believe in 2012

2012 will be my year for dreaming bigger and believing in those dreams and the power they hold.

2011 has been a good year - I did my fair share of dreaming and putting those dreams into action, but I need to go deeper into my purpose in life.

I've learned a lot about belief and faith in these past two months. After I kicked and whined for almost half the year about how I thought my life should be and how I thought I should get there, God shone a little light in a dark corner of my mind. And it turned out to be the most simple advice. Just believe. If you can do that, you've moved mountains.

So my word for 2012 is believe and I intend on doing so. What do I have to lose?

2011 in Review:

At the end of 2010 I told myself I would have some amazing experiences in 2011...and I did! The biggest thing is that I got to study novel writing under my favorite author, Francesca Lia Block. I learned so much from the workshops and met some amazing writers.

I also got to meet one of my favorite musicians.

Emilie Autumn played in Austin in March and the love and I got VIP tickets to meet and greet. We drank Emilie's tea blend, heard a private violin solo, and got pics and autographs! She is incredibly sweet and so passionate about her work. And the concert was amazing, of course.

In February, little Freddy came into our lives. He will be one year old next month!

He provides endless amounts of joy and entertainment and I am so grateful that he pulled through his bout of sickness and stayed with us, hopefully for many more years.

Other accomplishments: opened A Goddess Garden (Although I admit I haven't concentrated on it much these last few months. Goal for 2012!), self-published a book of poetry, and started Gypsy Love Warrior!

I believe in 2012!
and all of the brilliant experiences and dreams come true...

I believe this will be the year that I will walk in my purpose.

What is your word for 2012? What dreams do you want to come true?
