I'm taking a cue from miss Gala Darling and putting together a visual survey for the year's end/transition. 

Instead of the traditional fill-in-the-blank-with-words survey, I'll be answering these questions with photos. Because photos are more fun!

And away we go!​

​I've come upon a manifestation spell that works wonders for me. Real magical goodness. It's a combination of several things, including manifestation techniques (obviously), affirmations, and sigil work. 

I'll give you the basics of this spell and you can adjust according to what you need and what feels good to you. 

I can't speak highly enough about the power of words, whether speaking or writing them. I think magic is automatically infused inside the lines and curves of letters. 

First, think about what it is you want and write it down in as much detail as possible. As you write, continue thinking about what it is you desire, envision it happening and how you feel as it's happening. 

The affirmation template I use is one that I adapted from Helen Hunter Mackenzie. Fill in the blanks to suit your needs, re-write it, or create a whole new one. Whatever feels right for you. 

Spirit (God, Goddess, Universe, etc.) knows how to connect me with the perfect ____ for my needs and desires.

It reveals to me the right next steps to discovering ______ that includes everything I most desire for the good of myself and my loved ones.

I am so grateful for the path that is now unfolding to lead me directly to this wonderful _____ quickly and easily. 

For example, I used this affirmation to manifest the house my husband and I found as soon as we moved to Dumaguete. Here's how it went:

Spirit knows how to connect me with the perfect house for my needs and desires. It reveals to me the right next steps to discovering a house that includes all the features I most desire for the good of myself and my loved ones. I am so grateful for the path that is now unfolding to lead me directly to this wonderful house quickly and easily.

As a side note, I also made an amateur drawing of the house on a notecard and wrote beside it all the features we wanted and needed.

What is a sigil? Basically, it's an inscribed symbol charged with magic. 

Please note that I did not create a sigil for the house spell and it still manifested, so this is optional, but I do find that adding a sigil creates faster results. 

Now to creating your very own sigil. First, you'll want to take what you wrote in Step 1 and refine it to a single sentence. Make it as clear as possible while still including all the important bits. 

Using the house as an example, you might write:

I LIVE IN THE PERFECT HOME THAT SUITS MY NEEDS AND DESIRES

Next, you'll refine this even further by taking out all of the vowels and repeating letters. You're left with: 

LVNTHPRFCMSYD

Now comes the creative bit. Take the remaining letters and work them into a symbol. This is really all about playing, creating, and coming up with something that fulfills your heart, as well as your eyes. Intertwine the letters, make them into shapes. If you need inspiration, do an image search for sigils. I also recommend A Beginner's Guide to Sigil Craft, a short read that will show you how to go from letters to symbol. 

Once you're happy with your sigil, draw it on the back of your affirmation paper.

I use a little trinket box that I found in my great-grandmother's home after she passed away. It's ornate and colorful on the outside and lined with royal purple felt on the inside. Quite perfect for a wish box!

You can use whatever makes your soul sing.

Draw the sigil again, on its own piece of paper, and place in the box or write out your wish and put it into the box. Again, whatever feels good to you. You could even put the affirmation you created into the wish box, but I recommend keeping it separate and in a place you can see so you'll remember to read the affirmation daily. 

If you want to charge your little spell even further, place a crystal that corresponds to your desire into the box as well. My go-to resource for crystal properties is Charms of Light.

A huge part of manifestation is meditating on your desire, really envisioning it. Reading your affirmation daily will help you to connect with that desire. You can also meditate on it just before bedtime by thinking about the wish coming true, how it will look and feel. Think about all the details. Swim inside that dream until it feels like it's already come true (because it has!). 

Like most things, it's up to you on how you dispose of your spell. I usually burn the sigil paper and scatter the ashes in the dirt. I keep my affirmations to remind me of all the beautiful things that have manifested.
