5 Sunday Tips to Make Your Week a Success

​It seems that as you’re getting older, time passes faster. Not only is it difficult to keep up with your day-to-day schedule, but it’s practically impossible to try and plan the things that you’re supposed to do in the future.

However, planning your next week in advance is the perfect way to manage these issues, and if you don’t know what to do on a Sunday night except cry yourself to sleep about the next working week that’s starting the day after, it could be a great idea to actually try and plan out as much as you can.

These are the most important things that you have to have in mind, because once you manage to plan these out, everything’s going to be much easier. Just try it out.

​There definitely are a lot of things to do the following week, and the best way to start planning your upcoming week is by having a nice planner that you will be using to make your to-do list.

It’s not only important to list all the things you are supposed to do, but actually plan them by the hour. If you’re the kind of person who has everything on their phone and different apps, you can use your calendar or
an app that’s designed for this purpose.

​Try to think about the most important obligations that you have and write them down, allocating just enough time for you to finish that particular job. Having everything in front of your eyes, with the actual amount of time that’s needed to cross it out, might help you out a lot.

​One thing that suffers the most because of our tight schedules is our diet. This is where a meal calendar comes in handy, as you get to plan all the meals you will be eating in the upcoming week.

It’s very important to cook fresh food at home, so you can use the nights to cook food and prepare everything for the next day or even two if there are leftovers. You can also cook a couple of different meals and put them in the freezer – that way you will always have something healthy and already made that you will just heat up.

​Not only will you be saving a lot of money on eating out, but this option is always more advisable, as it’s healthier.

Even though you will only be saving 10-15 minutes per morning, these minutes matter a lot because you can snooze the alarm a couple of times if you have all the clothes prepared beforehand.

If you have an important meeting during the upcoming week, it would be good to choose the best outfit in advance, iron it, and store it in your closet. This way you won’t experience the morning I-have-nothing-to-wear stress, and God knows how anxious that makes us!

If you’re going to exercise in the upcoming week, make sure to have
the best women’s activewear prepared in advance, as you definitely won’t have time to think about it when the time for exercise comes. Speaking of exercise…

It might be that each week is different, but on a Sunday night, you most certainly know when you will be free to hit the gym. Allocating two days during the week for your visit to the gym or jogging is crucial, not only for your figure, but your mood as well.

This can
help you cope with stress and stressful situations in your life or work, so don’t take it for granted. If you, however, think that it would be impossible to find time to exercise during the week, you can always use the weekends.

find time for yourself

Finally, it’s also important that you make some free time for yourself. Yes, it’s easier said than done, but you can definitely find at least an hour a day during which you will get to indulge in all the activities that make you calmer and that you love doing.

It could either be reading a book one hour before going to bed, catching up with your favorite shows, or going for a walk – but if you try hard enough you will see that finding time for yourself is not impossible. After all, this is of the utmost importance, as it can enhance your performance the day after.


You might do this once and see it work, but the chances of you going back to your old, non-planning habits are quite high. This is when you are supposed to stay devoted and focused. Planning your week in advance should be your Sunday ritual, so do whatever you can to make it that way!
