My Story:
In August 2012 I quit my 8-5 job in human resources to become a full-time writer and live the life I always dreamed of. I had about $3000 in the bank and no real plan except to write like my life depended on it. Less than a year later, my boyfriend (now husband) and I sold almost all our belongings and moved from the U.S. to the Philippines. Not only do I get to live a beach bum writer's life, I also get to do cool stuff like sail on yachts, zip line, take naps in hammocks, and explore the island by motorcycle. Bliss!
When I'm not blogging at The Sacred Middle, you can find me reading Francesca Lia Block books, writing poetry, working on a novel, freelance writing, practicing yoga and meditation, or dancing up a sweat. I also run Bridal Magic, a wedding blog for brides-to-be.
I've written for places like Trueblue, Wild Sister, and Women on Writing, and do editorial work for Natural Awakenings magazine. If you'd like to see more of my portfolio, head over here.
